Our brewery has come a long way since our founding fathers, John Boyle and Robin Leighton, first pored over malt bills and recipes in a potting shed in the village of Wylam, Northumberland.
From those humble beginnings, Wylam has grown into an independent brewery whose beers are enjoyed in quality pubs, bars and bottle shops across the UK and beyond.
In 2025, we celebrated 25 years of brewing, marking a quarter of a century of experimentation, creativity and independence. Today, we brew a diverse range of beer styles in-house, from hop-forward pales and IPAs to stouts, bitters and everything in between.
25 years on, the spirit remains the same: make great beer, do things our own way, and keep brewing what we love.
